Answer:The Tripartite Struggle was a long conflict among the Gurjara-Pratiharas, Palas, and Rashtrakutas for control of Kanauj. Kanauj was an important political and commercial centre. The struggle continued for nearly two centuries, but no dynasty could keep permanent control over it.
2. Write about the Chola administration.
Answer:The Chola administration was well organised. The king was the head of the administration. The empire was divided into provinces (mandalams), valanadus, nadus and villages. Village assemblies looked after local administration. The Cholas maintained a strong army and a powerful navy. Agriculture, irrigation and trade were encouraged.
